Dennis Coker has been in the construction materials sector since 1995. In his construction materials career, he has held roles of increasing responsibility across a number of different construction product groups. With time spent in quality control, production, sales, corporate development and P&L management, including most recently as President of a specialty minerals producer.
Since 1999, he has been focused almost exclusively on M&A (merger and acquisition) activity. Assisting large, public companies, and smaller, private companies in corporate development activity, primarily overseeing strategic growth planning, acquisition targeting, deal negotiation, divestiture and integration activity for mining and construction materials companies.
He has led and participated in transactions covering a wide range of construction products businesses:
Dennis has been heavily involved in the consolidation of several construction products sectors and has been able to successfully negotiate more than 30 transactions totaling more than $1 billion in value.
He earned his BBA from the University of Mississippi and an MBA from the University of Memphis.
Bob has 30 years of experience serving the construction materials industry and a record of achieving exceptional results in highly competitive environments that demand continuous improvement. He has significant expertise in operations, sales, and P&L management, with career experience ranging from sales and operations management of regional aggregate and ready-mix operations to most recently running Titan America’s Mid-Atlantic Business Unit with cement, aggregates and concrete P&L responsibility, reporting directly to the CEO.
Outside of his extensive operations background, Bob has led strategic growth initiatives and successful acquisition and greenfield efforts. He has significant experience in ready mix concrete, cement, aggregates, and concrete block. He earned a Master of Engineering and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and is a registered Professional Engineer in 10 states.
